OBOE Journal On Biennials and Other Exhibitions is a bi-annual, open access and peer-reviewed journal devoted to international academic research around art and exhibitions. OBOE's code of ethics adheres to COPE's (Committee on Publication Ethics) "Core Practices" guidelines.
Peer Review Process
OBOE Journal adopts a double-blind peer review publication process. Each submission will be sent out to two ad hoc reviewers, selected by the editorial team for their research subjects. Reviewers are asked to return their evaluation within three weeks.

OBOE is published twice a year (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter).
Open Access Policy
OBOE provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research available for free supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. This journal does not have article submission charges or article processing charges (APCs).
OBOE Journal is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-commercial 4.0 International license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/). Articles can be read and shared if credit is given to the author, to the original source of publication, and if the use is not for commercial purposes.
